Delicious and Moist Banana Bread

Hey Ya’ll,

I hope your week is off to a lovely start thus far. I know there are hundreds of banana bread recipes out there, but this one is a little bit different, and I think you’ll like it.

Ready? Let’s get to it!

-2 C of flour, 1 cup white all purpose flour and 1 cup (I do this for all recipes that require flour because it doesn’t noticeably change the texture but makes it healthier)

-1 tsp baking soda

-1/2 tsp cinnamon

-1/4 tsp salt

-1/2 C butter (I use Land O Lakes)

-2/3 C brown sugar

-5 over ripe bananas, mashed

-2 eggs

-1/2 tsp vanilla extract



1.) Preheat oven to 350 degrees F

2.) In a large bowl combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt

3.) In a medium size bowl, cream brown sugar and butter

4.) Add eggs, bananas and vanilla and combine

5.) Combine the wet mixture to the dry mixture

6.) Pour the mixture into a greased 3″x 9″ pan

7.) Bake for 1 hour (make sure you can poke a knife in the middle and slowly lift out without batter sticking to the knife)
