5 Minute Breakfast Protein Smoothie

Hey Ya’ll,

The morning can be a very stressful time in the morning trying to get out the door. I received awesome feedback on the Bacon, Egg, Onion and Avocado in a Cup post and wanted to give you another option for those who don’t necessarily like eggs. This smoothie is a great option to give your the vitamins from the fruit, but also the protein your body needs in the morning from the protein powder and milk.

Ready? Let’s get to it!

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Ice
  • 1 scoop Vanilla Protein Power (make sure it’s NSF approved)
  • ~4 Strawberries
  • Raspberries (palm full)
  • 1/2 Banana
  • Skim Milk

Directions:

1.) Take your blender (I use my NutriBullet), fill it with a cup of ice and your scoop of protein powder

 

2.) Clean and slice up your strawberries, raspberries and banana and place in the blender

3.) Add in your milk, screw on the cover, and blend for 10 seconds (or until fully mixed and crushed)

4.) Pour into a glass, add a straw, and start off your day with a lovely breakfast!
